Description
La reserva natural de Karatal-Japyryk se estableció en 1994 y tiene una superficie total de 190,3 km². La reserva es algo inusual entre las áreas protegidas de Kirguistán, ya que consta de tres secciones no contiguas geográficamente muy aisladas entre sí.
