Zhambyl Zhabayev Historical House

Zhambyl Zhabaev (1846-1945) was an outstanding Kazakh akyn (folk improvisational poet) who lived for almost 100 years and became a symbol of Kazakh oral poetry. He was a continuer of the tradition of zhyrau (steppe storytellers) and went down in history as one of the most famous performers of aytys (poetic competitions). Zhambyl was born near modern Taraz (the city was formerly called Aulie-Ata) and devoted his entire life to glorifying his native land, folk wisdom and heroism.

Taushelek Museum of Local History

On the territory of Satу rural house of culture there is a local history museum "Taushelek".The local history museum "Taushelek" was opened on January 7, 2022. It is a center of spiritual and ideological education, preserving cultural traditions and rich historical heritage. This center not only collects, preserves and promotes national cultural and historical variants, but also the whole mankind. "Taushelek" is located inside the village house of culture. The local history museum was filled with various things telling about the life of the region.
