Travel Circles are small open groups formed around a route, a date and a shared reason to go. Join a confirmed departure, raise your hand for a Circle taking shape, or start one from a private tour you would like to share with like-minded travelers.
Some journeys are better shared.
A mountain trail. A winter road. A women-only running camp. A Silk Road route. A horse trek across summer pastures. Some departures begin with Nomad’s Land. Others begin when travelers ask us to open a route to people who share the same spirit.
A Travel Circle is our way of keeping group travel small, clear and human. Each Circle has a route, a date or target season, a group spirit and a practical status: gathering interest, almost ready, confirmed or last places.
You can ask to join an existing Circle, raise your hand before committing, bring your own group, or start a Circle from a private tour. We look at the route, the season, the pace, the comfort level and the people interested, then help the journey take shape with local knowledge and careful logistics.
The road begins before departure. First with a question. Then with a few names. Then with a Circle.

Some Circles are created by Nomad’s Land. Others begin with travelers.
1. Find the road
Choose a Circle with a route, date, theme and pace that fits the way you travel.
2. Raise your hand
Send your interest, ask your questions and tell us what you need to know before committing.
3. Feel the group
We share the spirit of the departure: pace, comfort, guide, group size and who the Circle is designed for.
4. Secure your place
When the Circle is right for you, confirm your spot and we finalize the logistics.
5. Meet before the road
Before departure, receive route notes, practical advice and the chance to connect with your guide and fellow travelers.
6. Travel as a Circle
The journey begins with strangers. It rarely ends that way.
Already traveling with friends, family, a club, a school, a company or a community?
We can adapt a private route for your group, with the right pace, comfort level, guide team and logistics across Central Asia.
Tell us what kind of Travel Circle you are hoping for. When a matching date, theme or route begins to take shape, we will let you know.
Choose your interests, season and travel style: trail running, horse riding, winter travel, family discovery, hiking, culture, photography or the Silk Road. This is the quiet way to raise your hand before a Circle exists.
A Travel Circle gives shape to the space between private travel and classic group tours.
Shared momentum
A fixed date helps the journey become real. You are no longer only thinking about a route on a map. A Circle gives the trip a season, a pace and a group beginning to form around it.
Better value
Some costs are shared, while the journey keeps the care of a locally designed route. Transport, guiding and logistics can become more accessible without turning the experience into a large group tour.
Human chemistry
A Travel Circle is built around a shared reason to go: a trail, a season, a cultural moment, a sport, a place or a way of traveling. The goal is simple: bring together people who are likely to enjoy the same road.
Local depth
Each Circle carries the Nomad’s Land way of working: local partners, field-tested logistics, respect for communities and the flexibility needed when traveling across mountains, borders and remote valleys.
Room for you
A Circle has a common route, but your needs still matter. Diet, arrival plans, comfort level, rooming, extensions and practical details can be discussed before you decide if the group is right for you.
Is a Travel Circle the same as a group tour?
A Travel Circle is a small open group built around a specific route, date and travel spirit. Some are confirmed departures; others are still gathering interest.
What does “Gathering interest” mean?
It means the route and idea are public, but the group is not confirmed yet. You can raise your hand, ask questions and help the Circle take shape.
When is a Circle confirmed?
Usually when the minimum number of travelers is reached and deposits are received. The exact conditions are shown on each Circle page.
Can I start a Circle from a private tour?
Yes. If you find a private tour you would like to share with other travelers, send us your dates and preferences through Start a Circle.
Can I join alone?
Yes. Many Travel Circles are designed for solo travelers who want to share the road with a small group.
Can my own group travel privately?
Yes. Use Bring your own group if you already have friends, family, a club or organization ready to travel together.
