Shimbulak

The largest ski resort in Kazakhstan, also the oldest. It was built for the training of the Kazakh ski team during the soviet times. There are 7 lifts, included one gondola starting from Médéo, 5 km lower. Ski lovers will enjoy about 20 km slopes. The resort is open all year around, but in summer, don't wait to see a lot of visitors.

Safed Dara

Safed Dara means the white valley, and it's situated 50 km North of Dushanbé. The old ski resort formerly named Takob was renovated in 2015 and was reopened for the 1st of January 2016. There are 2 T-bar lifts of 1000 meters each, the National ski school, a restaurant and 56 hotel's rooms.

It's also a very good spot for any mountain sport : mountain biking, horse riding, backcountry skiing, ski-touring, hiking, mountaineering.

Small ski resort in the Orussay valley with all conveniences. One of the freeride resort of Kyrgyzstan. The small hotel at the base of the slope and its restaurant are open the all-year-around. You can be lifted or you may enjoy ski-touring also. Some skis and snowboard can be rented at the resort.

Too-Ashuu Ski Resort

The newly ski resort was build on the top of slopes at the altitude of 3000 meters. The main slope is ideal for beginners, but ski lovers will find another slope on the East-side of the mountain. As the slope cover only a small part of the mountain, you will find many freeride possibilities. Usually the season begin end of October and finish in April. The snow-cover is one of the most important, and can reach 2 meters during good winter.
