Museum

Kyrgyz national writer, outstanding prose writer and draftsman Kasymaly Zhantoshev was born in 1904 in the village of Tepke, Ak-Suu district. In 1970, a museum of K. Zhantoshev was established in the school. Since then, it has been repaired and made acceptable work.

At the moment the number of exhibits in the museum is 97.

Ybyrai Tumanov (1888, Karakol district, Ak-Bulun aily - 1967, Karakol district) was a composer and people's composer. People's Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR (1951). Member of the Union of Composers of the USSR.

The Museum of Design, located in Ak-Terek village, serves as a premier destination showcasing a vast array of exhibits that encapsulate the history and evolution of design in Kyrgyzstan. Visitors are treated to extensive collections featuring interior design elements, traditional and contemporary clothing, intricate jewelry, and exceptional works from master craftsmen. First, on May 9, 1985, to the 40th anniversary of the Great Victory in the building of the "House of Pioneers" of the district, a museum "Combat Glory" was opened. Later, in November 1998, the district historical and ethnographic museum Toguz-Toro was established.
     The total number of exhibits in the museum was 182, the number of exhibits increases every year, and currently the number of exhibits is 1892 (as of January 1, 2024).
