Turkmenabat International Airport

Turkmenabat Airport is a key facility in the air transportation system of Turkmenistan. It is used for flights on domestic routes of the country, and also serves transit and charter international flights.

The airport terminal can serve up to 300 passengers per hour, providing them with comfortable conditions during flights. The airport's artificial runway is 2750 meters long and 42 meters wide, which allows it to accommodate various types of aircraft.

Köýtendag

Köýtendag is a city located in Lebap Province, Turkmenistan. It serves as the administrative center of the Köýtendag District. The city and district were originally known as Çarşangy but were renamed Köýtendag on December 29, 1999, through a parliamentary resolution. Later, on July 27, 2016, Köýtendag was upgraded to the status of a "city in a district" by another parliamentary resolution.

Türkmenabat second-large city in Turkmenistan. Till 1924 and in 1927-40 the city had the name Chardzhuy, in 1924-27 Leninsk, in 1940-92. Chardzhou, in 1992-99 Chardzhev.

The great Silk way has played a huge role in the history and lives of this city. The grotto of Amul-this first name of Türkmenabat was one of important points, a reliable haven on this well-known road, also. Later it has been postponed also for the Construction Department river. She began to be called Amu Darya that is meant by the Amu-river.
