Jailoo

The Ming Teke river flows into the Kitchi Alaï valley.

Tulpar Tash is situated north west part of Son Kul, jailoo of nomads from Kyzart region. This is one of the most beautiful places of Son Kul.  Transparent shiny surface of the lake can be seen from away. The surrounding landscape is pristine lake around this place, there are faces of Turkic on stone, preserved since the heyday of the Turkic Khaganate they mistakenly called balbals. These are statues real ancestors installed in their places of burial.

Valley situated on the South side of the Kyrgyz Alatoo range, and flowing into the Suusamyr river and the Kekemeren canyon.

Welcome to the picturesque Jailoo at the confluence of the Jeti Oguz and Asan Tukum rivers. Each summer, nomads set up their yurts here, bringing along their sheep, cows, horses, and goats. This charming spot, nestled near the bank of Jeti Oguz river, is a haven for hikers traversing from the Chong Kyzyl Suu valley to the Karakol valley.

In the Karakol National Park, the landscape is very alpine, rocky and covered with forests. There are good places to pitch your tent, but be careful not to do too close to the rivers. Heavy rains at the end of the day, and the rivers overflowing. 

From here you can reach Teleti Pass, or On Tor pass, or Ala-Kul Lake, or simply walk down till Karakol. In winter, the place is also accessible on horseback, and allows to practice ski touring.

A nice campsite in the serene beauty of Kosh-Moynok, a hidden gem nestled in Kyrgyzstan's Kitchik-Alay valley - Surrounded by juniper forests, it's a summer pasture for nomadic herders and a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with its towering peaks, including Kosh-Moynok mountain, higher than 4930 meters, in the heart of the Pamir range. 

On the south west side of our camp the Ming Teke peak stands like a gendarme above our heads, and culminates at 4114 m., the name means the thousand goats in Kyrgyz language.
