Chong Kemin National Park

This park encompasses the entire Chong Kemin Valley. There are many trails still virgin or almost. Several passes between Issyk Kul Lake or Kitchi Kemin Valley.

The total area is 126,514 hectares. Here in the park the river Chon Kemin flows. More than 780 species of plants grow and rare mammals such as snow leopard, brown bear, maral, Eurasian lynx, golden eagle, himalayan griffon vulture (Gyps himalayensis),  bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus), saker falcon and sablefly are found.

Archa-Tor pass

The Karakabak gorge, and the Asantukum gorge, are two stunningly beautiful valleys located in the Jeti Oguz district. These valleys are separated by a mountain pass called the Archa Tor pass (difficulty 1A), which offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

One of the highlights of the Archa Tor pass is the stunning view of the Head of Sugar peak, which stands at an altitude of 4189 meters. From the pass, you can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Chatyr Tor peaks.

Ala-Bel pass

The pass of Ala-Bel is one of main "control points" on the highway Bishkek-Osh. He is located at the height of 3175 m above sea level on the Talas Ala-Too. The pass Chychkan connects the Suusamyrsky valley and the valley. Rise and descent from the pass rather flat.

Ala-Archa pass

The Ala Archa National pass is situated at the end of the Ala Archa valley, at the top of the Ala Archa glacier (West). From entrance of the park, it takes about one day hiking to the foot of the pass. It's possible to sleep in the ancient refuge of the old skibase, or to install tents on the field of the old meteo station. At the pass, there is no track, and it's difficult to find his way. To have a guide is recommended.

At the pass, you can enjoy a great panoramic view of nearest peaks like Toktogul (4361 m.) and other 4000 m. peaks.

Kyzyl-Art pass

The border post of Kyzyl Art is situated at 4282 m. alt. in the Yalayskiy range, between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. On the way of the Pamir Highway M41 joining Osh to Khorog.

On the North side, the road is going slowly in a amazing valley. The panoramic view is opening on icy and snowy mountains.

The South side opens on a another world where the landscape is semi desert.
