Lake

Small lakes on the foot of the Juku pass (north side), with turquoise color. The lower lake is just 100 meters long, the upper one is 400 meters long. It's nice place for camping.

All 6 lakes are located on the south side on the plateau of Kashkasuu pass at 3890 meters above sea level. They are surrounded by mountain peaks and glaciers located at more than 4,500 meters. 

The caravans coming from the north, who had crossed this difficult pass, probably had to stop at the shore of the lakes to let grazing camels and horses.

The Koel Toer lake is blocked in the Koel Toer gorge part of the Kegeti valley at the altitude of 2720. Certainly formed by a landslide, the lake is 500 meter wide. From end of the road, it takes about 2 hours walking, 6 km.

Uvsu Nur is a picturesque lake located in Western Mongolia, about 150 kilometers northeast of the capital Ulaanbaatar. It is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the country and covers an area of about 16 square kilometers.

The lake is surrounded by picturesque mountains covered with meadows and forests, creating stunning scenery and a wonderful atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The water in the lake is clean and clear, making it an ideal place for fishing and swimming in the warm season.

Khubsugul is the largest freshwater lake in Mongolia, located in the north of the country in the foothills of the Khubsugul ridge. Lake Khubsugul is known for its beauty and purity of water, which is transparent to a depth of more than 20 meters. It is surrounded by picturesque mountain landscapes covered with dense forests of pine and deciduous trees. The lake is famous for its rich variety of fish, including tuguns, whitefish and other species.

Lost lake in a remoted region of the Naryn Oblast. Situated in the west part of the Moldo Too range and Song Kul's lake. The lake is in so remoted region, that the water is full of fishes. The road start from Aral, in the Jumgal district, or from the village of Kyzyl Korgon.

Lake Karakul, located in Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), is one of Central Asia's most spectacular and mysterious natural wonders. Framed by the high peaks of the Pamirs and the rippling highland deserts, it is an oasis of tranquility and beauty amidst the harsh nature.

There are 3 mountain's lakes which are strung along the Kolsay river. The source of the river Kolsay start from the South at the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in the Kungey Alatoo range :

The Big Almaty Lake is a high-mountain reservoir in the Zailiyskiy Alatau at an altitude of 2510 meters above sea level, 15 kilometers south of the city of Alma-Ata.
The basin of the lake is of tectonic origin, complex shape, with a general slope to the north. The lake is 1.6 km long and 0.75 to 1 km wide.
The length of the coastline is 3 km, the depth is 30-40 m, the area of ​​the mirror is 0.9 square kilometers, the volume of the water mass is 14 million m³.
