Tilla Sheikh Mosque

The mosque is located opposite Barrack-Khan Madrassah. Tilla Sheikh means Golden Sheikh. This is the former main mosque in Uzbekistan. It was constructed by the Kokand khan Mirza Akhmed Kushbegi in 1856-57 years.In the mosque yard there are winter and summer halls for prayers, short minarets, warehouse rooms and a library. The mosque is decorated with carved mikhrab niche, minbar, window apertures. The mosque is valid today.

Juma Mosque

Lyab-i Hauz Complex

Lyab-i Hauz is a real treasure of Bukhara - there is a whole architectural ensemble consisting of a mosque, a madrassah and a monument in honor of Khoja Nasreddin - a favorite character of eastern folklore. The area is surrounded by a beautiful clean pond with a fountain. It was Lyab-i Hauz that became a favorite place for various mass celebrations and holidays in Bukhara.
