Kol-Ukok Lake in Naryn Oblast is a magnificent natural wonder that amazes with its beauty and uniqueness. Located in the western part of the region, it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the region and attracts tourists from all over the world.

This lake, which was once a glacial lake, is surrounded by high mountains and snow-capped peaks, creating a unique atmosphere of solitude and tranquility. The water of the lake, clear and clean, reflects the surrounding mountains and sky, creating incredible scenery that makes you marvel at nature.

Imagine stepping into a realm where the air is crisp and the sun bestows its golden touch more generously than anywhere else at similar elevations. Nestled at the mouth of the Djergalan River, just 10 kilometers northeast of Karakol and a scenic drive of 390 kilometers from Bishkek, lies the climatic-balneo-mud sanatorium "Djergalan." 

To the west of Karatorpok-Keskesdala high plateau and Rangkul village, the lake is endehoric, and flows into the neighboring lake, Rangkul lake, which is about the same size, about 5km long. It fills up with snowmelt and is completely frozen over in winter. Depending on the year or the season, these two lakes can double in size.
13 km from the main M41 road, you can visit these lakes when traveling between Lake Karakul and the capital of the eastern Pamirs, Murgab.

Zarafshan is an ancient tributary of the Amu Darya, originates on the Zarafshan ridge, feeding on the meltwater of the Zarafshan glacier. It flows through the territory of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. In the north-west of Uzbekistan creates a unique oasis, in the valley of which the city of Samarkand is located. It passes through the arid territories of Kattakurgan and Navoi, turns to the southwest of the country, carrying its waters through the cities of Bukhara and Karakul. It ends its journey in the desert, a little before reaching the ancient mouth of the Amu Darya.

The Moldobashi peak is located in the Djetim massif which marks the border between the oblast of Issyk Kul and Naryn. 

From Kyrgyz, one could translate by "the head of the one who prays". The easiest access is from the village of Archaly, to the north, if not from the Naryn nature reserve, to the south.

The Nepalko Sathi association set up a community garden in Gontala in 2017. This garden is not only intended to produce vegetables and fruits, but also to train the population in permaculture, mainly women, in order to achieve allotment gardens. After initiating our responsible gardener, Phurtemba, he undertook the training of the women of Gontala, then those of the other villages, Dobatak, Saisima and Yangden.

Karatal-Zhapyryk reserve was organized in 1994 in the Naryn region in order to preserve unique natural resources, as well as rare species of animals and plants. According to the classification of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the reserve is assigned category I - strict nature reserve.

Of all the natural wonders of Afghanistan, the lakes of Band-e Amir are perhaps the most out-standing. Situated in the mountainous Hazarajat at an altitude of approximately 3000m, 75km from Bamiyan, these majestic blue lakes are of legendary beauty.

Aksu-Zhabagly is a place where you can truly experience the wild nature of the Tien Shan. The reserve is located in southern Kazakhstan, near the border with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and is considered the first of its kind in Central Asia—it was founded in 1926 and is now listed as a UNESCO biosphere reserve unesco.org.
