Choibalsan Airport

Choibalsan Airport is a civilian airport located in Choibalsan, Mongolia, which formerly operated as a military airfield of the USSR Air Force. In 2001, an international reserve airport was built on the base of this former military airfield to provide air connectivity and accessibility to the region.

In 2008, international flights from Choibalsan Airport to Hailar, People's Republic of China began, opening new avenues of communication and opportunities for passengers and tourists. A few years later, from October 21, 2013, Hunnu Air began operating flights to Manchuria, China, deepening trade and cultural ties between Mongolia and China.

Choibalsan Airport plays a significant role in the development of regional and international air traffic, contributing to tourism, economic development and cross-cultural exchange.
