Excursion and Interpreter Guides Union of Kyrgyzstan: Enhancing Training Initiatives

We are excited to announce our collaboration with the Excursion and Interpreter Guides Union of Kyrgyzstan, known as Excursus Training, based in Bishkek. This esteemed union is dedicated to organizing a variety of courses, seminars, trainings, and lectures aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of Kyrgyz guides.

Nomad's Land is member of the Kyrgyz Association of Tour Operators (KATO). 

КАТО is a non-profit organization that defends the corporate interests of its members and the rights of its clients.

The Association’s most important goal is the creation of a civilized tourism market and assistance in the tourism industry development at the national level.

Mission

Nomad's Land is a member of the Mountain Cluster association which aims to develop tourist infrastructure in the mountains. At the initiative of the governor of Issyk Kul Oblast, a bill has been submitted to the government to guarantee investment in this area.

Destination Jeti Oguz is a non-profit destination organization in Kyrgyzstan working to develop responsible tourism in the Jeti Oguz district. Its mission is to create journeys that connect visitors with the region’s land, culture, and people while supporting community prosperity, heritage preservation, and landscape stewardship.

About the Kyrgyz Nomad Trail Network

The Kyrgyz Nomad Trail Network is the initiative behind the Kyrgyz Nomad Trail, a long-distance hiking network across Kyrgyzstan. The trail connects diverse landscapes, communities, historical and cultural sites, and protected areas.

Its work combines route development, mapping, signage, outdoor knowledge, community engagement, and responsible hiking culture.

About Nepalko Sathi – Amis du Népal

Nepalko Sathi – Amis du Népal is the partner association connected to the Rural Development in the Arun Valley project. Its work, as presented to Nomad’s Land, focuses on supporting Sherpa communities in Khembalung, in Nepal’s Arun Valley.

Nomad’s Land references this organization as the accountable partner for travelers who choose to contribute to the Rural Development in the Arun Valley project.

Village Monde is an organization promoting sustainable tourism in remote regions through international cooperation, solidarity explorations, education, and the Vaolo collaborative platform. Its work connects local tourism actors, communities, and responsible travelers around more human, inclusive, and locally beneficial forms of travel. (Village Monde)
