Nomadsland organized a 5 days 4 nights winter tour from Bishkek to Issyk Kol lake via Chom Keming (horse riding), Jyrgalan (snow shoeing), Karakol (museums) and Bokanbaevo (fairy canyon, 7 bulls, eagle hunting), then back to Bishkek. Nikita, our guide, picked us up from the airport and drove us round the snowy roads in his excellent v8 4wd. He translated menus, gave us lots of information, introduced us to ALL the local foods (we have all gained weight), kept us company in the evenings and safely shepherded us back to the airport in time for our onward flight. We sometimes take mini tours as part of a larger, independently organised travelling holiday. This mini tour worked out very well, and we couldn't have done this route by ourselves in the same time or style. Thank you Nikita and Nomadsland. I recommend you! Nick
