Visa for Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan remains one of the Silk Road countries where tour planning and document planning are closely linked. Tourist visas have traditionally required a Letter of Invitation approved through the migration authorities and arranged by a licensed local partner or tour operator.
Turkmenistan has announced moves toward electronic visas, but until implementation details are verified for the traveller’s nationality, route and travel date, the safer guide wording is: assume you need confirmed visa support before the route is promised.
