Samarkand International Airport

 Samarkand international airport situated in Samarkand region of Uzbekistan. Located on the northern outskirts of the city of Samarkand.

Airport as a strategic site plays has a huge role in the development of the regional economy, including tourism. Passenger service is elevated to a new airport terminal, taxiways were reconstructed, a new building of the dispatch service, installed modern air navigation equipment. The capacity of the current terminal - 400 passengers per hour. The distance from the airport to the city center is 8 km away.
