Visa for Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan is one of the easier Silk Road countries for many travellers, with visa-free access for numerous nationalities and an official e-visa system for many others. But “many” is not the same as “everyone”, and registration rules still matter once you are inside the country.
Before confirming travel, check:
- whether your nationality is visa-free and for how long;
- whether you need an e-visa, embassy visa or transit visa;
- whether your passport must be stamped on entry;
- how registration will be handled by hotels, hosts or camps;
- whether overland entry or exit changes the document logic;
- whether your itinerary includes enough time before the allowed stay expires.
