Silk Road Yurt Camp is a family-run tourism initiative at Song Kul Lake supported by Nomad’s Land. The camp gives shepherd families an opportunity to earn additional seasonal income from travelers while sharing daily nomadic life, local hospitality, and the fragile highland environment around the lake.
Contributions can support practical improvements such as yurt maintenance, guest comfort, waste management, water and sanitation improvements, host training, and responsible visitor information.
