Chong Kyzyl-Suu - Jeti-Ögüz

Today’s ride is a long and rewarding adventure for true horse lovers. We can see red rocks at the lower part of pastures. The trail then leads us across the high pastures of Siuttu Bulak jailoo, where herds of horses graze freely amidst a backdrop of spruce forests and wide open skies.

We continue our ascent toward the Ak-Say Pass, standing at 2805 meters, offering panoramic views over both valleys. After crossing the pass, the landscape opens into the lush Jeti-Oguz valley, known for its red sandstone cliffs and tranquil atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, we arrive at our destination and settle into a traditional yurt camp for a well-deserved rest. In winter, the journey concludes at the Jeti-Oguz sanatorium, where we spend the night in a cozy local homestay.
