Kumdu Suu (Song Kul) - Kochkor

After breakfast, we say goodbye to our hosts at Kumdu Suu jailoo, leaving behind the serene shores of Song Kul Lake. We drive along the easthern shore, passing yurt camps and herds of horses grazing on the open pastures. The road ascends gently toward the Kalmak Ashu Pass (3,470 m), offering one last panoramic view over the shimmering blue waters of the lake.

From the top of the pass, we descend through the Tolok Valley, where the contrast between the green pastures and red mountains paints a striking landscape. Continuing through the dry gorge of Djon Aryk, we reach the wide valley of Kochkor.

In the late afternoon, arrival at a local homestay in Kochkor, where a warm welcome and a hearty traditional dinner await. Enjoy a comfortable night, reflecting on the unforgettable days spent in the highlands of Song Kul.
