We begin our horseback adventure from our homestay, riding up through the scenic Barmak Gorge at the foot of the magnificent red Sandyk Mountain. After crossing into the Chong Suu Valley, we enjoy a picnic amid the summer pastures at 2,500 meters of altitude. In the afternoon, we descend back toward the village of Kyzyl Oy, where dinner and a cozy night in a local homestay await.
