A closer look

Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan with this unique handicraft experience. In the heart of the traditional Kyrgyz village of Jeti-Orүz, you'll discover the timeless art of felt and wood crafting, a tradition passed down through generations.

Our grandmothers crafted everything from felt toshoki to clothing, yurkans, shyrdaks, and alty kat. These handcrafted items are a testament to the creativity and resilience of the Kyrgyz people, a symbol of our cultural identity.

In this hands-on experience, you'll visit the workshop of a master wood craftsman. Here, you'll witness the meticulous process of crafting these traditional items, from the careful selection of materials to the final touches that make each piece unique.

You'll also learn about the social and cultural significance of these crafts. The carpenters who construct the wooden frames of the grey houses are true architects, their work reflecting the balance and flexibility of our nomadic lifestyle.

Masterclass prices start from 300 KGS, offering you the opportunity to learn from the best in the field. Items crafted by these skilled artisans are available for purchase, with prices starting from 1000 soms.
