Issyk Kul region

Mount Drujba, meaning "friendship," is located south of the West Dungurome Valley. It is clearly visible ahead as you drive up the Barskoon Valley road, before reaching the ecological checkpoint and the switchbacks. 

On its northwest face, there remains a 200-meter glacier snowfield. The southern approach from the Barskoon Pass is easier and does not require special mountaineering equipment. 

Between the Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley and the Kichi Kyzyl Suu Valley lies Jiluusuu Peak, the first summit seen snow-covered year-round, closest to Lake Issyk Kul. It stands at an altitude of 3985 meters. 

The peak is named after the hot springs of the Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley, which translates to "warm water." To the east is the Ayutor Glacier Lake, a small lake about 170 meters in diameter. 

Unfortunately, the glaciers around this mountain have melted, leaving behind moraines, although the eastern face is often snow-covered. 

Peak Palatka, which translates from Russian as "tent peak," presents a magnificent sight from the Altyn Arashan valley. Its snowy north wall poses a formidable challenge reserved for experienced climbers, while the southern face, accessible from the Sary Chat valley and across the Sary Chat glacier, offers a relatively easier ascent.

Kyrgyz national writer, outstanding prose writer and draftsman Kasymaly Zhantoshev was born in 1904 in the village of Tepke, Ak-Suu district. In 1970, a museum of K. Zhantoshev was established in the school. Since then, it has been repaired and made acceptable work.

At the moment the number of exhibits in the museum is 97.

Ybyrai Tumanov (1888, Karakol district, Ak-Bulun aily - 1967, Karakol district) was a composer and people's composer. People's Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR (1951). Member of the Union of Composers of the USSR.

The stone of the game for Toguz-Korgool. In this stone the inhabitants of the ancient nomadic people Zheti-Oguz gathered and held various festivals. Between these rows are two "treasure rooms", which collect the captured stones of each user individually. At the beginning of the game there are nine stones in each hole, except for the treasury, which is empty, so players need to collect 162 stones.

Museum named after Barakanov. Mukash Barakanov was the first teacher in his honor in Jeti-Oguz district in the village of Svetlaya Polyana in the school base was opened a museum named after Barakanov.
