Lake Chapdara, also known locally as Kuli Chapdara, is the largest of the Alaudin Lakes, with a diameter ranging from 300 to 400 meters. It is part of a system of three main lakes and several smaller ones, all connected by underground streams and mountain runoff.
The lake is situated in the upper part of the Pasrud Valley, in a section known as the Chapdara Valley, located in the Ayni district of northwestern Tajikistan, within the Gissar range of the Fann Mountains. It lies at the foot of Chapdara Peak, which rises to 5,049 meters.

Yamchun fortress is one of the most interesting historical sites in the Wakhan Valley. Yamchun is 72 km away to the east of the district center Ishkashim. The fortress was built during th 3rd century BC during the Greek-Bactrian Empire, on the Great Silk Road, in order to control southern invaders coming from the Pakistan valley of Chitral. A triangular citadel overlooks the village of Yamchut above 360 meters. The citadel is at the top of another walled triangle of nearly 600 meters length and with a base of about 400 meters.

Garm Chashma is a popular hot spring resort located in the Pamir Mountains in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. The name "Garm Chashma" means "hot spring" in Tajik, known for its natural mineral-rich healing properties. The water temperature ranges from 40 to 60 degrees Celsius (104 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
