On November 25-26, 2023 trainings were held in Kyzyl Suu for our owners of homestays and yurt camp from whole district Jeti Oguz
The main objective was to increase the potential of the district's tourist facilities in order to ensure the criteria of sustainable tourism and promotion of the region.
Jety-Oguz is a picturesque valley in Kyrgyzstan, located near the town of Karakol. It attracts tourists with its natural beauty, unique mountain landscapes, crystal clear rivers and historical monuments.
The development of Jeti-Oguz plays a key role in the development of tourism in the region for several reasons:
Natural treasures: The Jeti-Oguz Valley is famous for its beautiful mountains, gorges, waterfalls and lakes. Its unique landscape attracts nature lovers, mountaineers, hikers and photographers.
Saruu village consists of three villages: Saruu, Issyk-Kul Sanatorium and Juuku village. All villages are located in a mountainous area, 7 km to the district centre and 36 km to the regional centre. 1800 m from sea level. It is also 180 km from the railway and 360 km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The population of Saruu village is 8501, Issyk-Kul sanatorium 374 and Juuku village 60.
There is a lake Issyk-Kul nearby.
By working together, Nomad's Land and Geopark Teskei can create a synergistic relationship that promotes sustainable tourism, conserves natural and cultural heritage, and benefits both the local communities and visitors. This collaboration allows for a responsible and enriching tourism experience while supporting the long-term preservation of the Geopark's unique features.
The population gathered and united around a single tourism association covering the Jeti Oguz district of Kyrgyzstan.
The new Jeti Oguz District Tourism Association was created on 2nd of March 2023 with the support of Nomad's Land Ecotourism Development Company and the Mountain Cluster Association of Kyrgyzstan.

One of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan is the Altyn Arashan Gorge (Kyrgyz "source of gold".) The At-Bashi Range is 135km long and culminates at 4,801 meters. It stretches from the southwest, from the Muz-Tor valley and the Tuz-Bel Ashuu pass, to the northeast to Bosogo and the Kayindi pass. North of the chain is the At-Bashi Valley at an average altitude of 2,500 meters. North side, the slopes are steep and covered with rich vegetation. On the south side, the plain of Ak-Say is at an average altitude of 3200 meters. The highest peak is the Rhianydd at 4,801 meters. The At-Basi peak rises to 4788 meters and is the second highest in the chain.

The town of Toktogul is located in the district of Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan, along the dam Toktogul. The Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, is 280 km north and Osh, the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, 400km south. Located in west of the chain of the Tian Shan, the Toktogul valley has a long history. Its location along the river Naryn and surrounded by mountains allowed to easily defend against attacks and withstand natural disasters. With its abundant nature, the 7-4 centuries BC, the valley was home on his land Scythian warrior tribes.
