Aitbek is a skilled eagle hunter from Kyrgyzstan who continues his passion with the support of tourism development. He has transformed his home so that travelers can stay with him year-round.
During the summer, you can also enjoy a night in a traditional yurt. His wife Gulnaz is an excellent cook who loves preparing local specialties. Don’t miss the chance to taste Gulnaz’s homemade jams — they are delicious, especially the strawberry jam.Aitbek trains his eagles during the summer season.
In winter, he heads higher into the mountains to hunt jackals and rabbits. The lodge is located on the southern, mountainous side of the main village of Bokonbaevo, at the foot of the Tong Pass, which rises to nearly 4,000 meters.
