Silk Road Lodge

Built in 2000 in central Bishkek, the Silk Road Lodge is a small four-star hotel beside Central Park, within a few minutes’ walk of the White House and several popular restaurants.

The hotel has 28 rooms, ranging from 24 to 48 sq. m. Bright, softly coloured furnishings and large bay windows give rooms a homely feel. Facilities include cable TV with English, Russian, Kyrgyz, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese channels; high-speed internet; a room safe; built-in wardrobe; and a complimentary newspaper. En-suite bathrooms have heated floors, with fresh towels provided daily.

Room categories include 10 two-room suites—2 with twin beds and 8 with king-size beds—3 Deluxe rooms with king-size beds, 7 Twin rooms and 8 Single rooms.

Leisure facilities include a heated indoor pool and two saunas. A business centre provides fax, scanner, projector, photocopying facilities, wireless internet and a conference room.

The Silk Road bar-restaurant serves international dishes alongside traditional Kyrgyz cuisine, with international and local wines available. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served in the restaurant or ordered as room service. Twenty-four-hour room service includes a night menu at no extra cost.

Additional services include a shop selling toiletries, snacks, drinks, books, maps and souvenirs; exercise machines; a book swap; information board; lift access to all floors; laundry service; and baggage handling.
