Suusamyr valley

Suusamyr is a small valley, 150 kilometers long, which is located between three large ridges of the northern Tien Shan: Kyrgyz, Suusamyr-Too and Jumgal-Too. From ancient times this valley was a very fertile place: it is no coincidence that the Great Silk Road passed through it, and nowadays it has become one of the favorite attractions for tourists in Kyrgyzstan.

South of the city of Bishkek, at the very foot of the Kok Jar mountains, there is a hill named Tashtar-Ata, this place is surrounded by various secrets and legends, and called the mountain of salvation.

According to local residents, the place has a very bright aura; pilgrims come there in search of purification of the soul.

It is impossible to scientifically prove or justify the healing power of the mountain, but the Mountain of Salvation serves as a sanctuary where pilgrims seek salvation from all troubles and diseases.

Shamsi gorge (North)

The northern gorge of Shamsi is located 85 km from Bishkek and allowed caravans to cross the Kyrgyz Alatoo range and thus created a link between the city of Balasagun in Kochkor. Archaeological excavations have also revealed a Buddhist cemetery and a unique golden mask dating from the 4th to the 5th century AD. The Shamsi mask is embellished with three tree patterns created by a series of perforations highlighted with white pigment. Two of the trees cover the cheeks while the third was placed all over the nose and the middle of the forehead.

Korona The Crown peak

Pic Corona is located in the Ala Archa Valley and its National Park. It is located at an altitude of 4860 m and thus one of the highest peaks in the Kyrgyz Alatoo range. The peak at the top of Ak-Say glacier, its northern part, 1.68 km from Semenov Tianchansky peak. It consists of six rock towers forming a crown.
It takes 4 days for its ascent. The first base camp is at the foot of the Ak-Say glacier, and there is a small refuge at the foot of the summit at an altitude of 3800 meters.
In winter the ascent can be done by ski touring.

Kojomkul museum

Museum and village in the name of a local hero named Kojomkul. In a small museum you can see photographs, clothes of strongman . Three people can easily fit in the Kojomkul's robe. Huge boulders that the strongman lifted are also stored here. The weight of the smallest of them is 620 kilograms.Not far from his native village, named after him, journalists saw a huge stone weighing more than 600 kilograms, which Kojomkul in 1924 lifted and placed on the grave of one of the local leaders named Tyyta uulu Chargynbek. Next to the stone is the mausoleum of this official.
