Bahauddin Naqshband Memorial Complex

The Baha ad-Din complex is a cult ensemble located in the suburban area of Bukhara. The complex served as the center of the Naqshband dervish order. Its head, Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshband, died in 1389 and was buried near the village of Kasri Arifon near Bukhara.

Bukhara- Buqaraq of the sogdienwhich would mean "fortunate place" and Vihara in Sanskrit which means a Buddhist monastery.
