Khujand - Osh

A long day drive accross the Ferghana valley, from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan (avoiding Uzbekistan territory). In the morning, drive along the wide reservoir of Kaïrakhum till Isfara border post. You will meet your Kyrgyz guide, and drive along the Batken Oblast. The Turkestan range stand on your right, it's not a wellknown range, but slowly, first alpinists from the world discover some secret vertical cliffs. On your way, you will pass through some mining and agricol towns, like Kaydarkhan where is one of the largest reserve of mercury, then further Nookat which was wellknown for its tobacco industry. In the end of the afternoon, arrival in the old city of Osh, installation in a lodge. Dinner in downtown.
