Samarkand - Khujand

In the morning, drive to the Tajik border, and you will meet your Tajik guide. Visit of Pendjikent ancient's city build from the 5th century. The road continues up into the Zeravshan valley till Ayni, and cross the Turkestan range by the tunnel which avoid the dangerous pass of Ayni. Then the road goes down to the Ferghana valley and to Istaravchan, and visit the antique part of the city. In the end of afternoon, arrival in Khujand, installation in guesthouse and dinner in the city.
