Alauddin lakes

Lake Alaudin, also known in Russian as "Mutnye ozera" (the murky lakes), is a high-altitude lake located at 3,519 meters in the upper part of the Pasrud Valley in Tajikistan’s Fann Mountains. It lies directly at the foot of the Kaznok Pass, which rises to 4,088 meters, surrounded by 5000 m. alt. peaks such as Chimtarga, Mirali, Energia, Zamok and Chapdara.

Fan Niagara high waterfall

In the heart of the Fann Mountains, in northern Tajikistan, the Fan Niagara waterfall dramatically marks the spectacular exit of Lake Iskander (Iskanderkul, Iskenderkul). At this spot, the lake’s turquoise waters rush into a rocky gorge and powerfully plunge 38 meters down, forming a roaring curtain of foam that echoes throughout the valley.

The Hat of the Great Alexander

In the majestic Fan Mountains of Tajikistan, not far from the legendary Iskanderkul Lake, stands a striking peak known as the “Hat of the Great Alexander”. Officially named Rain Gauge “Dojdemernaya”, this mountain rises to 3,342 meters, dominating the southern shore of the lake with its steep, dramatic walls. Its unusual shape, reminiscent of a hat, is said to have inspired its legendary name.

Uch Choku

Uch Choku is a small summer jailoo in the village of Dashman, nestled between Arslanbob and the Kara-Unkur Valley, at the edge of the majestic original walnut forests. This pasture offers a pleasant stop during a two-day hike, on foot or horseback, connecting the two valleys via a ridge peaking at 2,876 meters. Behind this ridge stands Bobash Ata, the highest point in the region with an altitude of 4,427 meters.

Small ski resort in the Orussay valley with all conveniences. One of the freeride resort of Kyrgyzstan. The small hotel at the base of the slope and its restaurant are open the all-year-around. You can be lifted or you may enjoy ski-touring also. Some skis and snowboard can be rented at the resort.

Song Kul Too

The Son Kul Range is a mountain range located north of Lake Son Kul in central Kyrgyzstan. This mountain range is part of the inner Tien Shan and forms the natural border of the northern side of the Son Kul high-altitude plateau.

The range rises above the lake and creates a picturesque mountain landscape with alpine meadows, wide pastures, and steep slopes. The Son Kul Range covers the northern part of the lake and reaches its highest point at an altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level.

Teleti gorge West

The Teleti Gorge, in the upper part of the Jeti Oguz valley, is a quiet and scenic valley of the Teskey Ala-Too range. It begins in dense fir-tree forests, where tall spruces shade the slopes and the air carries the fresh scent of resin and damp earth. The Teleti River flows along the valley floor, and its constant murmur accompanies hikers along the trail. In several places, small waterfalls descend from the rocky slopes, especially during the snowmelt season.

Barskoon waterfall

Barskoon waterfall is a geological protected area located in Jeti-Oguz District of Issyk Kul Province of Kyrgyzstan in 90 km to the south-west of Karakol on one of the tributaries of Barskaun River. It was established in 1975. 

Within the Barskoon valley there are two waterfalls on top of the mountain and the mountainside. At the foot of the mountain you can enjoy the beautiful river of Barskoon.
